The Philosophy of Non-Racialism
The Philosophy of Non-Racialism qualifies as one of the world changing ideas built on ideas from a variety of other philosophies such as the ancient concepts of Ubuntu and the modern ideas of Black Consciousness. However, the most direct and most difficult to understand is the influence of racism. Non-Racialism is a direct South African response to Apartheid, the most legislated form of racism in the world. It is easy on the palette of most South Africans who lived through and endured the oppression of Apartheid and does not much make as much sense or particular meaning to the scientists, writers, and reporters who did not experience the brunt of racism, who by and large include the world's decision-makers, the creators of definitions and gatekeepers of academia. Understanding Non-Racialism is key to understanding the exciting and miraculous non-violent revolutionary change of South Africa. |
